You can go to American Association of Cosmetology Schools to look up a state-approved program. Be thorough in your research, evaluate tuition costs, ask for specific information that aligns with your future career plans, and enroll in a school of your choice to earn a license. 

The school’s curriculum should provide you with the technical skills to cut, color, bleach, and style the hair of future clients for the best results. 

Even after graduating, don’t think you will not need further training. You will need to keep sharpening your knowledge and skills to stay on top of trends.
